Aqua Forest Camp has been founded on the basic premise that Rishikesh is just too amazing to be kept as an exclusive playground for the young and mostly single men and women. There are scores of people who would have loved to come to Rishikesh with their families. the constraint was - there was not even a single good place for camping with the family. We set out to create Rishikesh’s Family Alternative, featuring luxury tents located on the stream Hyule - just a little ahead of Rishikesh city. This unique location offers quick access to both the Ganges for rafting and to the wadeable wilderness trekking trails.

The camp is 6 km from Jumping Heights, 10 km from Laxman Jhula, 12 km from Ram Jhula, Ganga Aarti and Rishikesh City. The Rishikesh Railway Station and Rishikesh Bus Station are 14 km away and Jolly Grant Airport is around 35 km.

HOW TO REACH

The cottage is situated at 4 kms distance from Lansdowne in Jaiharikhal on Pauri road. Lansdowne is most sought weekend destination and located at 6 Hrs driving distance from Delhi (248 kms) via Kotdwar. Regular buses are available from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Kotdwar. Local Taxis or buses are available from Kotdwar to Lansdowne.

By Air:

The nearest airport is Jolly grant at a distance of 17 km. The Shimla airport is situated atadistance of 175 km.

By Train:

The Indian Railway Station of Rishikesh has well connected to other major places like Delhi, Chandigarhand Shimla etc.

By Road:

Rishikesh has good connectivity by well-maintained roads from other nearby cities. There are regular government bus services to Delhi, Chandigarhand Shimla etc.
